Billing Account Representative - Florence & Myrtle Beach

The Billing Account Representative will maintain a professional image, provide excellent customer service to patients, medical staff, and co-workers. This role involves efficient follow-up on third-party payers, verifying claims, resolving denials, and managing accounts. The position requires accuracy in billing and adherence to payer guidelines.

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience in a computerized physician office or hospital setting in insurance, billing and reimbursement preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of regulations relating to Medicare, Medicaid, Worker’s Compensation, and commercial insurance.
• Strong time management, organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to look up ICD-10 and CPT Treatment codes from online resources.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize a heavy workload.
• Strong problem solving, attention to detail and accuracy skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
