Job Description
McMillan Pazdan Smith is seeking a creative and innovative Project Architect to join their growing Healthcare team in Columbia, SC. This role involves supervising small to large-scale projects, coordinating teams, managing budgets, and serving as the primary client liaison. The architect will contribute to delivering functional environmental designs while maintaining code compliance and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent
- Registered as a licensed architect
- 8-12 years of experience as an architect
- Experience leading a project team
- Knowledge of estimating project needs
- Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, and Bluebeam
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative suite and Newforma software
- Excellent grasp of building technology fundamentals
- Thorough knowledge of relevant codes, operations, processes, and trends
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills
