Job Description
McMillan Pazdan Smith is seeking a creative and talented Project Designer to join their team in Charleston, SC. The role involves providing production support, reviewing shop drawings, managing projects, and ensuring adherence to building codes and standards. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team focused on delivering functional architectural solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent
- Registered as a licensed architect preferred
- Five (5) years combined experience as an intern architect and/or architect
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software
- Familiarity with Revit
- Experience with Newforma Project Center
- Experience with Newforma Project Analyzer (Planifi)
- Firm grasp of building technology fundamentals
- Thorough knowledge of relevant codes, operations, processes, and trends
- Excellent time management skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to provide clear direction
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity
