Registered Nurse II - Pediatric EmPATH/Mental Health (10k Sign on Bonus)

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. Provides rapid behavioral health assessments and treatments in calming environments. As crisis centers within hospitals, they serve as urgent care-like centers for psychiatric patients and provide the option of a 24- to 48-hour stay.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• 1 year of work experience as a registered nurse required
