Mechanical Engineer II - Contractor

This is a temporary, 6-month contractor position with no benefits for a Mechanical Engineer II. The role involves interpreting customer specifications, performing analysis, creating and testing drawings, and developing prototypes. The engineer will contribute to design documentation, troubleshooting issues, and training. Success will be measured by the quality of completed work and adherence to deadlines.

Requirements

• BS in engineering, mechanical preferred.
• 2-4 years related experience, or MS and less than one year experience.
• Experience with Solidworks CAD software, preferably Solidworks.
• Experience in medical equipment design, preferably electromechanical, electro-pneumatic, and/or blood pumping equipment.
• Knowledge of medical device industry regulations (ISO 13485, ISO 7198 & GMP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to operate test equipment.
