Behavioral Health Therapist

The Behavioral Health Therapist will provide substance abuse counseling, therapy, and harm reduction education using evidence-based modalities. The BHT is responsible for maintaining progress notes and providing case management services.

Requirements

• Experience working with indigent marginalized populations within a framework of cultural competence
• Understanding of the principles and practices of Harm Reduction
• Extensive knowledge of the core competencies of substance abuse treatment
• Literacy and experience with Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent written, verbal, and telephone skills
