Job Description
Seeking a Senior Safety Officer with a Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering and 8 years of experience in HSEQ/SHE&S, loss prevention, and industrial safety.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering, or Safety discipline
- NEBOSH Diploma or Equivalent
- 8 years of experience as a HSEQ / SHE&S professional, loss prevention and industrial safety
- Experience in the Oil & Gas, HSEQ management of engineering, construction and commissioning projects
- Good understanding of both qualitative and quantitative risk assessment techniques
- Ability to read engineering drawings/documents and communicate with other engineers
- Experience with contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge in developing and implementing Emergency Response Procedures
- Experience in active participation of workers welfare programmes
- Experience in development and maintenance of Project HSE Risk Registers
- Experience in providing Safety Leadership to large contractors workforce
