RN Lactation Consultant - PT - Mid-Shift (3pm - 3am) - MHW

Provides direct patient care in a specialty unit, evaluates learning needs, and provides patient and family education. Collaborates with other disciplines to coordinate patient care and effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel.

Requirements

• Evaluates learning needs of the patient and, or family
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care
• Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel
• May precept student nurses and new hires
• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on patient assessment
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient condition as appropriate
