In-School Suspension Assistant

Memphis-Shelby County Schools is seeking dynamic educational champions to position the district as a national leader in education transformation. The role involves providing instructional and behavioral support for students referred by the school principal, focusing on student outcomes for over 110,000 students and families in the Memphis-Shelby County area. Candidates must be courageous, solutions-oriented, and have a proven ability to drive results.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s degree
• Two years of college experience (48+ semester hours) or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment Test
• Two years of experience working with urban and/or disadvantaged youth
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Must possess or be able to obtain an education, training, and/or experience
