Job Description
Mesabi Metallics is seeking an experienced Design Engineer specializing in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automation systems for iron ore mining and steelmaking projects. The role involves leading the design, implementation, and commissioning of systems ensuring reliability, safety, and efficient operation. The company is a pioneering group advancing sustainable mining practices within the iron ore industry.
Requirements
- 7 to 15 years of experience in electrical, instrumentation, and automation engineering.
- Hands-on experience with power distribution systems, control panels, PLC, DCS, SCADA, and industrial automation.
- Proficient in electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, EPLAN) and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of US codes and standards including NEC, NFPA, ISA, OSHA.
