Electrical Subject Matter Expert

Meta is seeking a data center Electrical Subject Matter Expert to join our Data Center Facility Operations team. The Electrical SME will be responsible for electrical system technical operations, procedure-based maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, training, and project oversight.

Requirements

• 8+ years relevant electrical industry experience or electrical trade level experience
• Bachelor’s degree or trade certification in related field plus 4+ years relevant electrical industry experience
• Working knowledge of critical facility operations with experience or understanding of procedure-based work
• Theoretical and practical understanding of power equipment & systems, with expertise in electrical equipment design, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and/or construction
• Working knowledge of mechanical, controls, and fire and life safety systems
• Experience interpreting blueprints/CAD drawings
• Experience in comprehending plans, specifications, and equipment shop drawings
• Experience working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment
• Proficient with computer systems including documents, spreadsheets, email, and maintenance systems
