Meta is seeking an Electrical Subject Matter Expert to join their Data Center Facility Operations team. The Electrical SME will be responsible for electrical system technical operations, procedure-based maintenance, troubleshooting, and project oversight. The candidate will need to have a broad understanding of electrical system and equipment function.
Requirements
- Serve as an onsite technical resource of electrical infrastructure systems and equipment
- Ensure appropriate cross-functional collaboration between local electrical team and applicable local and global teams
- Contribute to electrical safety program for site
- Plan resource, author or approve work procedures to cover electrical troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, and maintenance activities
- Conduct or oversee hands-on troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, and maintenance of electrical equipment
- Oversee electrical system configurations and component upgrades to ensure system integrity is maintained
- Provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) oversight of construction projects & maintenance activity
- Lead and/or participate in root-cause analysis activities in area of expertise
- Provide training to Critical Facility Engineers and other cross functional teams on electrical equipment, systems, procedures, and changes
- Manage vendor relationships for electrical maintenance and retrofit work
- Provide feedback on global electrical maintenance strategies and global electrical system design improvements
