Office Engineer position performing construction support tasks for the Maryland Transportation Authority at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Facility. Duties include managing contracts, establishing baselines, reviewing reports, and communicating with management.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- GED or High School diploma.
- 2 - 4 years of related experience preferred.
- Excellent English language skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently without much guidance.
- Detail oriented, organized, and multitasker.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively (written and verbal) with stakeholders at all levels.
- Positive attitude toward continuous process improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows/Office and working with PDF software preferred.
- Understanding of construction projects, document control systems (eMCMS and ProjectSolve), and general accounting a plus, but not required.
Benefits
- Approximate compensation range: $19.24/hr. to $26.26/hr.
