Senior Gas Engineer, Global Facilities

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Engineer to join our Gas team within the Global Facilities Engineering department. The Senior Gas Engineer will play a vital part in providing high-quality Engineering services and support for the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of our subject area specific Facilities systems across our Semiconductor Manufacturing sites worldwide for Bulk Gas and Specialty Gas Systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Industrial Systems Engineering
• Minimum 7 to 10 years experience in Semiconductor and/or Facilities related industry
• Technical expertise, knowledge, and experience on Facilities and Semiconductor Gas Systems including Bulk Gas Systems, Specialty Gas Systems, Gas Purification, Gas Cabinets and Valve Manifold Boxes, Hazardous and High Purity Gases and Piping, Compressed Air, and Gas Distribution Systems
• Ability to prioritize and schedule workload and work on multiple tasks concurrently
• Self-motivated worker, good organizational skills and service demeanor
• Excellent communication skills and good team working skills, English Required
• Familiarity with Semiconductor Manufacturing and Facilities systems
• Ability to travel internationally 25-40% on average, but up to 50-66% of the time during Critical Project phases or Site Activities
