MIKA is a refined yet approachable Mediterranean-coastal dining experience where guests feel like family. As a line cook, you'll help bring this elevated cuisine to life in a high-energy, high-standard environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a line cook in a full-service restaurant, preferably fine dining or upscale casual with elevated cuisine.
- Strong working knowledge of cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, pasta making, seafood handling, crudos, plating).
- Ability to work quickly, precisely, and under pressure during peak service.
- Commitment to quality, consistency and attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
- Familiarity with kitchen safety, sanitation standards and proper food handling.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to ~50 lbs, work in hot environment, and work flexible hours including nights/weekends.
- Team-oriented mindset, good communication skills, ability to follow instructions and take feedback.
- Passion for Mediterranean and coastal cuisine, willingness to learn and embrace Chef White’s style and restaurant’s culture.
