Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Analyst - Omaha, NE

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Analyst to support EHS efforts at our facility in Omaha, NE. The role involves implementing MESH, driving improvements, and ensuring compliance to environmental/permit regulations.

Requirements

• Assist with the implementation of MESH (Management System of Environmental, Safety, Security and Health)
• Prepare and deliver presentations across all functions to ensure compliance to MESH guidelines
• Obtain training and hands-on experience in implementing MESH tools
• Work closely with management and facility employees at all levels to facilitate, lead, and/or assist teams in achieving department and plant goals
• Support efforts to ensure that all key EHS operational controls are in place
• Create and maintain training matrices to ensure that all training is defined and tracked to completion
• Support efforts for third party recognition for programs that establish the site and Eaton’s EHS program as world class
• Work with EHS leader and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for EHS country, state, and local regulations
• Have responsibility for EHS project management from initiation through completion
• Possess a strong understanding of the Eaton Safety Process, ISO14001 and experience in Safety or Environmental compliance
• Work flexible hours to accomplish tasks
• Have knowledge and/or experience driving process improvements and sustaining implementation to prevent future incidents
• Ensure confidential, discreet handling of sensitive, confidential and proprietary information and tact and initiative in contacts with company employees, management and external regulatory/legal agencies or sources
• Assist with the Workers Compensation program and injury and illness management
