Freelance AI/ML Penetration Tester

Mindrift is seeking AI/ML Penetration Testers to join their platform and help shape the future of generative AI. The role involves evaluating AI models, creating automated tests, and conducting security research, with a focus on AI safety. The opportunity is flexible and offered remotely, allowing candidates to work at their own schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics or related field
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher)
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with containerization (Docker)
• Experience with penetration testing across web, API, network, and infrastructure
• Knowledge of AI model vulnerabilities, particularly prompt injections
• Familiarity with AI red-teaming frameworks
• Experience in AI/ML security, evaluation, and red teaming
• Proficiency in offensive exploitation
• Skilled in reverse engineering with tools like Ghidra
• Expertise in network and application security
• Knowledge of OS security concepts
• Familiarity with secure coding practices
• Ability to learn and switch tasks quickly
