Assist with the delivery of strategic supplier relationship management support to government agencies. Facilitate opportunities for collaboration with suppliers, markets, and agencies across the system. Work at the heart of government, supporting agencies with supplier relationship and contract management, and assisting the supplier community to work successfully with government.
Requirements
- Experience in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), category management or contract management, with an interest in strategic SRM practices.
- Awareness and a good understanding of government procurement rules and processes.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with external agencies and suppliers.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, demonstrating a proactive approach to building relationships.
- A strong client service ethic and good relationship management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and high-quality documentation.
- Self-motivated and accountable, with a proactive attitude and the ability to quickly adapt and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Strong multitasking skills, capable of effectively balancing multiple priorities and initiatives.
- Experience in influencing and negotiating with stakeholders, suppliers, and senior managers and driving innovation.
- Relevant qualifications or membership in a related field are desirable.
