Job Description
We are seeking a Principal Advisor to support the Head of Office of the Deputy Secretary, Strategy and Assurance. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of enterprise priority projects and providing strategic advice to the Chief Executive, Senior Leadership team and ownership minister.
Requirements
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Significant experience working with and writing for Ministers and senior decision makers.
- Strong collaboration with policy and delivery teams to reflect customer perspectives.
- Strategic foresight and ability to see the big picture.
- Intellectual agility to manage multiple complex ideas and integrate diverse perspectives.
- Skilled at navigating complex advisory processes and organisational dynamics.
- Proven ability to deliver under tight timeframes.
- Experience mentoring others and building capability.
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- Legal right to live and work in Aotearoa New Zealand.
