The role involves advising on and appearing in proceedings before various licensing Boards, Tribunals, and Courts on civil and criminal matters. You will work with autonomy in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Requirements
- At least 3 – 5 years civil and/or criminal litigation experience
- Sound legal technical skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to draft legal documentation
- Excellent relationship management skills and an ability to work well with others
- Enthusiasm, drive and a proactive nature
- A tertiary qualification in law and a current practising certificate
- Knowledge of regulatory enforcement litigation is highly desirable
- A full, clear New Zealand driver’s licence
- Eligibility to live and work in New Zealand
