Job Description
MCS is hiring a full-time Electrical/Low Voltage Apprentice in Tyndall AFB, FL. This role requires adherence to industry standards, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work in a team. Apprentices will be responsible for installing, terminating, and testing low-voltage cabling, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Formal training preferred
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read, speak and understand English
- Knowledge of 'Safe' working practices (OSHA, Lock Out / Tag Out)
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must possess own transportation
- Ability to work in and around confined spaces
