We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven Manager, Fraud Risk Strategy to lead Mogo’s fraud prevention efforts across our lending and wealth businesses. This newly created role will own the end-to-end fraud function - from strategy and analytics to tool selection and operations.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in fraud risk strategy, fraud analytics, or fraud operations
- Strong grasp of fraud typologies and trends, including synthetic ID, ATO, deepfakes, and digital onboarding fraud
- Proven experience with fraud tools, platforms, and technologies - especially those involving AI/ML, device intelligence, and behavioral biometrics
- Proficient in SQL and Python (or similar tools) to conduct exploratory data analysis, build dashboards, and support model logic
- Background in fintech, digital banking, or financial services preferred
- Critical thinker with a strong bias for action, capable of operating in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams
