Questrade Financial Group (QFG) is a leading fintech company that provides securities and foreign currency investment. We are seeking a Manager, Fraud Risk Management to support, build and strengthen our fraud risk oversight capabilities.
Requirements
- Maintaining and updating the Fraud Risk Management Policy, Standards and procedures
- Assisting in defining and refreshing the Fraud Risk Appetite Statement
- Serving as a subject matter expert during regulatory exams and internal audits
- Leading the execution of the annual Fraud risk assessments
- Conducting independent risk assessments on new products, services, or channels
- Reviewing and providing 'effective challenge' to the First Line's Risk and Control Self-Assessments
- Designing and executing a risk-based monitoring program
- Defining, tracking, and reporting on Key Risk Indicators and Key Performance Indicators
- Committee Reporting
- Tracking and validating the closure of fraud-related issues
- Driving continuous improvement in the Fraud Risk Framework and governance processes
- Maintaining awareness of industry and regulatory developments
- Leading and participating in vendor due diligence assessments related to fraud
- Reviewing, editing, and approving comprehensive investigative reports
- Advising Senior Management of solutions, fraud issues, control weaknesses or deficiencies and trends identified during reporting/reviews
- Partnering with internal & external stakeholders, as well as industry peers on best practices and trends as needed
- Serving as a point of contact for internal teams for questions related to Fraud Risk
- Overseeing management of fraud data to enable rapid tracking and monitoring of trends
- Conducting risk assessments, investigating suspicious internal activities and collaborating with various departments to enhance internal controls
- Staying abreast of industry standards to ensure appropriate fraud training/education/awareness programs are being delivered to the organization as needed
