Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Medior Data Operations Expert (Databricks) to join our Digital Engineering Team. The role encompasses managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Databricks-based data infrastructure, including monitoring clusters and jobs, ensuring data quality, and optimizing performance.
Requirements
- University or college degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Certifications in cloud computing or Databricks are a plus
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Databricks and Spark
- Strong Python and PySpark skills for data processing and automation
- Familiarity with Delta Lake architecture and ACID transactions
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Data Services and Databricks security/governance (Unity Catalog)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Databricks notebooks
- Data pipeline monitoring & alerting
- Data quality checks & reconciliation
- DEV / TEST / PROD release support
