Job Description
MongoDB is seeking a Remote Consulting Engineer to contribute to their global team delivering remote consulting services. This role involves complex technical design, customer implementation, product influence, and collaboration with product and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and Systems Architecture, comfortable working with global customers and a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication.
Requirements
- Strong development background
- Systems Architecture experience
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- High motivation for a customer-focused role
- 5+ years of software development/consulting/support experience
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures
- Experience with databases like MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning, Windows tuning knowledge is a plus
- Experience working with public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure & GCP)
- Comfort working in shifts to match customer time zones
