Job Description
We are looking for a visionary and hands-on Head of Engineering to serve as the technological leader for a key business unit. This role requires an executive who can operate as a Business Unit CTO, balancing deep technical mastery with the strategic vision to scale our products, processes, and people.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Head, Director, CTO, or VP Engineering role at a high-growth company operating at significant scale.
- Proven ability to operate as a Business Unit CTO, balancing technical debt, innovation, and rapid delivery.
- Deep expertise in Systems Architecture, Scalability, and Reliability (distributed systems, high-throughput APIs, high-availability design).
- Demonstrated experience in Engineering Process & Team Design, including successfully leading teams through periods of high growth and process maturation.
- A strong track record of Impact Through Leverage—improving throughput and quality through technical/process innovation, rather than solely increasing headcount.
