Sr. Human Factors Engineer

Monterey Technologies, Inc. (MTI) seeks a Sr. Human Factors Engineer to apply human-centered systems engineering principles to the design and development of complex systems. The role involves supporting requirements evaluation, leading human factors analyses, analyzing data, overseeing junior personnel, and ensuring compliance with standards like MIL-STD-1472. This is a mid-level position working under the guidance of senior team members, focused on creating highly-effective solutions.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Human Factors Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Psychology, or a related field strongly preferred.
• Master's and/or PhD Degree preferred.
• 6+ years of demonstrated experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of human factors principles, usability testing methodologies, and HF regulations and standards.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Developing leadership and mentorship skills.
• A commitment to understanding and advocating for the needs of end users.
