Machinist

Highly skilled Machinist sought for a second shift skilled trade position in our Maintenance team. Our products directly impact people's lives and we're part of a company dedicated to innovation and sustainability.

Requirements

• Set up and operate conventional and special purpose lathes, mills and grinding machines
• Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, etc. to determine dimensions and tolerances
• Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or work-piece
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors (speed, feed, coolant flow, depth/angle of cuts)
• Perform routine maintenance on machines
• Confer with Engineers, Production personnel, Programmers, etc. to resolve machining or assembly issues
• Work with mathematical concepts to develop practical solutions and problem solve
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem analysis and problem resolution skills
