Job Description
The Billing & Collections Specialist is responsible for billing services, collecting payments, maintaining records, and verifying insurance benefits. This role requires strong communication skills and adherence to compliance policies, particularly CARF and HIPAA.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
- 6 months of related experience or training
- Ability to function in a team environment and interact with diverse personnel
- Basic Math and Accounting principles
- Ability to read, write the required documents
- Ability to pass a DMV background check
- Valid driver's license or state ID
