The Production Engineer is positioned between production and the business with a focus on two main areas: Supporting the manufacturing and production teams by resolving challenges quickly and efficiently, and supporting New Product Integration (NPI) into the business.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience (Hardware and/or Electrical)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to use typical office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to use CAD (beneficial)
- Knowledge of design processes and layouts
- Some knowledge and understanding of electro-mechanical products (beneficial)
- Some knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machined components, PCBA, build assembly
- Understanding of electronic equipment design, build, and test processes
