They are seeking a Principal Data Platform Engineer to own and drive key data platform initiatives, including data ingestion, processing, storage, and cost reduction efforts. The role involves collaboration with stakeholders and leveraging AI to create a fully automated Data Platform.
Requirements
- 8+ years hands-on software engineering experience
- Experience with Python and a robust set of skills including multi-threading, concurrency, etc.
- BS in Computer Science or a related field; Masters preferred
- Experience with technologies like Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Airflow, Kubernetes
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
