Job Description
Motive is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Data Platform team. This role focuses on building and maintaining a scalable data platform for the company's data-driven products, including ingestion, processing, storage, and query systems. The team collaborates with various stakeholders to enhance and add features to the platform.
Requirements
- 3+ years hands-on software engineering experience
- Strong backend programming skills, including multi-threading and concurrency
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
- Experience with technologies like Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Airflow, Kubernetes
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- BS in Computer Science or a related field; Masters preferred
