Job Description
The CNC Setup Programmer is responsible for coordinating the purchase of tooling and work holding, designing special tooling, troubleshooting processing problems, and creating CNC programming. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in processing, programming, and setup of CNC machines, as well as excellent mechanical and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- A proven track record in processing, programming, and setup of CNC machines
- Ability to adjust tools and other machine components
- Must be able to use tools, equipment, and work aids
- Demonstrated competency in various materials, tooling, and processes
- Excellent mechanical and problem-solving skills
- Strong math skills in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry
- Advanced manual programming and blueprint reading skills, including GD&T
