Certified Veterinary Technician (Relief/On-Call)

We are looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Animal Health team at Multnomah County Animal Services. The ideal candidate will be able to promote a culture of respect, inclusiveness, and appreciation of diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and values. They will also have the ability to work calmly under pressure, demonstrate a high level of professional customer service, and provide excellent care to animals.

Requirements

• Six (6) months of work experience in an animal health-related field
• Possession of a Certified Veterinary Technician certificate issued by the Oregon Veterinary Medical Board
• Possession of, or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire, a Euthanasia Technician certificate issued by the State of Oregon
