Job Description
Mutual of Enumclaw is seeking a Property General Claims Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex property insurance claims. The successful candidate will work remotely and be located in one of the following states: WA, OR, ID, or UT. Preference will be given to candidates in the Seattle, Spokane, Boise, Portland, and Salt Lake City metro areas.
Requirements
- Knowledge of insurance policies and regulatory environments
- Demonstrated history of highly inquisitive claims investigations
- Personal and commercial lines experience is required. Farmowner's experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and claims-related software programs, including Xactimate and Xactanalysis
- Ability to individually create accurate reconstruction and rebuilding estimates and obtain agreement on repair costs and timeline from appropriate stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including conflict resolution and problem-solving
- Resilient and adaptable in a demanding and changing environment
- Adaptable to new technology and processes while maintaining a high level of service
