Research Fellow (Engineering/ Material Science/ Chemistry)

Research Fellow position available at NTU Main Campus, Singapore. The role involves conducting research on self-healing ductile cementitious composites for coastal protection infrastructure.

Requirements

• PhD degree in Engineering, Material Science or Chemistry or related field
• Strong academic standing with several publications in reputable journals
• Strong references from previous supervisors
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in chemical synthesis and analysis, concrete sample preparation, mechanical testing and microstructural characterization (XRD, TGA, FTIR and SEM-EDX)
• Competent in carbon sequestration in cement-based material would be preferable, but not required
