Research Fellow (Mechanical/Environmental/Civil Engineering/Chemistry/Physics/Materials)

The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow to undertake a project to develop efficient theoretical, numerical and experimental methods for the investigation of composite structures or fluid-structure interaction.

Requirements

• Possess a recognized PhD degree in Mechanical/Environmental/Civil engineering or Chemistry/Physics/Materials or related disciplines.
• Good theoretical and numerical skillsets
• Optional - Experimental skillsets in wind tunnels
• Optional – composite structure simulation, design and manufacturing methods
• Good track record in scientific publication
• Good interpersonal skills. Excellent teamwork awareness
• Strong responsibility for research / work
