Job Description
Walnut Ridge is seeking Part-Time cooks to assist in the preparation, oversight, and serving of meals within a high-quality Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. The role emphasizes culinary skills and managerial responsibilities to deliver top-notch food service and enhance resident satisfaction. The position is partnered with Tapcheck, offering a modern and convenient payroll solution.
Requirements
- Maintains a current ServSafe certificate or ability to participate in food service sanitation training.
- High School diploma or GED accepted.
- Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.
- One year of job related experience including food preparation and therapeutic diets.
- Must be 16 or older (NC law requiring 18 at power-driven machines).
- CPR & First-Aid certifications preferred.
- Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment.
