Job Description
Deerfield Ridge Assisted Living is seeking Part-Time Cooks to assist in meal preparation, oversight, and serving. The role involves maintaining high-quality food service in a community setting, including the ability to rotate weekends and holidays, and teamwork. This is a part-time position offering instant payroll access through Tapcheck.
Requirements
- Maintains current ServSafe certificate or actively participates in food services sanitation training.
- High School diploma or GED accepted.
- Culinary apprenticeship or training (preferred).
- One year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and therapeutic diets.
- 3 years’ experience in a healthcare, hospitality or service environment preferred
- CPR & First-Aid certifications preferred.
- Ability to work in a caring environment and follow instructions.
- Team player.
