Job Description
The Cost Accountant provides accounting expertise and financial support for manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate inventory valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS), and variance analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting or manufacturing finance
- Strong understanding of manufacturing job costing and cost of goods accounting
- Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
- Proven skills in reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial close processes
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
