Job Description
Neal R. Gross and Co. is seeking experienced Court Reporters to work on contract basis, visiting client sites in their local area. The role involves taking down proceedings using various methods, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Flexibility in work volume is key, with applicants able to work from a few jobs a month to 2-3 per week.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Court Reporter
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliably punctual and deadline-oriented
- Can-do attitude and excellent work-ethic
- Ability to work independently
- Organizational and time-management aptitude
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Excellent English language skills
- Proficient with technology
- Security screening for client sites (Government/Private Industry)
- NCRA, AAERT, or NVRA certification preferred
