Job Description
We are looking for a Platform Operations Engineer (m/w/d) who keeps the infrastructure running and actively stabilizes and scales it. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT operations, DevOps, or Platform Operations environment, with a strong knowledge of Kubernetes, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- Completed study of Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable education
- Several years of experience in IT operations, DevOps, or Platform Operations environment
- Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) and container technologies
- Experience in operating and maintaining APIs and distributed systems
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP or SAP Cloud Platform)
- Experience with incident, problem, and service management (e.g. ITIL)
- Secure handling of monitoring tools, ticket systems (e.g. Jira) and version control (Git)
- Experience in collaboration with internal support and development teams as well as external vendors
- Structured and solution-oriented way of working
- High sense of responsibility and resilience in incident situations
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Team ability and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
- Proactive thinking and continuous improvement requirement
