Job Description
Netskope is seeking a Sr. Staff Software Development Engineer in Test to contribute to the UI engineering team and build the automation framework for testing products. The role involves developing test automation strategy, automation framework, and working with backend teams to improve testing processes and security solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about testing, automation, and cloud technologies.
Requirements
- 15+ years of hands-on experience developing tests and automation for network and security products.
- Strong expertise in programming languages like Python, pytest, or Java.
- Experience designing and building automation frameworks.
- Solid experience in Web User Interface testing.
- Good knowledge of web applications stacks and the http protocols suite.
- Experience testing rest api services.
- Expertise in Selenium and/or Playwright and/or Cypress.
- Excellent debugging and development skills.
- Excellent test planning and execution skills.
- Good working experience in CI/CD.
- Familiarity with web data formats like JSON, MIME,XML, HTML.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
