Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for working with a team to manage open requisitions, researching requirements, and managing the full cycle recruiting process, including phone screens, in-person interviews, and dispositioning candidates. The role also involves developing a network of contacts, initiating contact with qualified candidates, and providing information to hiring managers and candidates.
Requirements
- Confers with hiring managers to identify personnel needs
- Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
- Initiates contact with possibly qualified candidates for specific job openings
- Reviews applications and interviews applicants
- Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews
- Utilizes internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates
- Coordinates communications between hiring managers and applicants
- Files and maintains employment records
- Contacts candidates' references to verify authenticity of information
- Enters notes and applicant information into Applicant Tracking System daily
