Job Description
New Era Technology is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Data Engineer for a client in Malaysia at their Kuala Lumpur office. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing regional frontend systems, providing data maintenance and support, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver business goals. The position requires a candidate with a strong understanding of data management technologies and experience in large-scale data architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related Engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in implementing operational data stores, data warehouses, and data mart in Unix and/or Windows environments.
- 5+ years of hands-on ETL development experience.
- 5+ years of experience with big data technologies including Azure and AWS.
- 5+ years of experience in implementing data models using dimensional modeling and data vault modeling techniques.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Knowledge of MDM, Data Governance tools, and Informatica technologies.
