Job Description
New Era Technology is seeking a motivated Network Engineer to support the migration of a global network from Cisco to Arista hardware. The role involves planning, executing, and troubleshooting network configurations, collaborating with engineers, and maintaining documentation. This is a high-impact initiative focused on secure and scalable network solutions.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
- Working knowledge of Arista EOS and associated tools.
- Basic experience with Cisco networking technologies (IOS/NX-OS).
- Understanding of Layer 2/3 networking, VLANs, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Familiarity with network security principles.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, NetFlow, SNMP).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
