Residential Support Specialist/Level One Medication Aide(L1MA)/CNA

New Horizons Community Support Services, Inc. is seeking a Residential Support Specialist to provide rehabilitative services and care for residents with serious mental illness in their Residential Program in Columbia, MO. This is a part-time or full-time position, offering weekend shifts and flexible hours. The organization has a strong reputation and is accredited by CARF.

Requirements

• Provide oversight/monitoring/support of residents living in our Residential Program facilities.
• Ensure facility has a caring, home-like and welcoming atmosphere.
• Provide interventions with residents to assist them with meeting their goals, learning new skills, and improving their coping skills and symptom management skills.
• Clearly document clinical interventions in progress notes.
• Implement and abide by company policy.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized household environment for the residents and complete cleaning and safety checks.
• High School Diploma or GED
