Job Description
New Leaf Energy is seeking a Vice President, Power Plant Division to lead the development and operation of its new IPP division. This role requires owning the P&L and managing a team focused on building and operating a profitable division within the DevCo, leveraging the resources of the broader company. The goal is to serve and strengthen the DevCo, while simultaneously running a profitable and sustainable IPP division.
Requirements
- Accountable to the executive team and the board for profitable and efficient functioning of NLE’s IPP.
- Manage 6-8 employees within the IPP.
- Find appropriate balance of internal and external resources for IPP functions, form relationships.
- Ensure high-quality, on-budget, and on-time construction projects are overseen.
- Develop the IPP’s asset management strategy.
- Control capital, raise funds, and recycle assets for future projects.
- Manage stakeholder engagement including investors and utilities.
- Manage and mentor your team.
- Manage and oversee financial modeling for business decisions.
