Vice President, Power Plant Division

New Leaf Energy is seeking a Vice President with P&L responsibility for its new IPP division to serve the DevCo while building and operating a profitable division. The VP will lead a team and draw resources from the company, focusing on securing funding and operating projects in the field. New Leaf Energy emphasizes a culture of trust, transparency, and employee empowerment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in renewable energy development, EPC, project finance, and/or operations, ideally including experience operating one or more essential functions for a renewable energy IPP.
• Experience scaling organizations or building new functions within a growth-stage company.
• Prior P&L responsibility for a business or business unit and a strong understanding of the drivers of financial results for an IPP.
• Project design and construction subject matter expertise.
• Familiarity with power purchase agreements, contract negotiations, and power plant offftake strategies.
• Superb stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong project management discipline.
