Paralegal Aide

The New York City Comptroller’s Office is seeking a Paralegal Aide to manage labor investigations case files and provide support to investigators and attorneys in the Bureau of Labor Law. The position involves proposing and implementing a system of organization, reviewing and drafting correspondence, and assisting in preparing and reviewing legal documents.

Requirements

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, or an associate degree with two years of experience, or four years of full-time satisfactory experience in paralegal services
• Experience in paralegal (legal assistant) services must have involved the American Legal System
• Paralegal Certification obtained in the United States from an accredited program or from a program approved by the American Bar Association can be substituted for 12 months of experience
